ACEQUIA MADRE HOUSE

Acequia madre house is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that preserves the properties that make up acequia madre house, located at 614 acequia madre street, santa fe, nm. Acequia madre house (amh) is a unique historic residence housing the paloheimo-curtin collection of paintings, arts and crafts, photographs, books, letters, diaries and other written archival material focusing on the culture of new mexico and the southwest. It promotes various charitable and educational purposes, including the advancement of music, art, archeology, languages, horticulture, literature, architecture, philanthropy and history. Jordan young serves as its interim president. The acequia madre house is home to the paloheimo-curtin collection and acequia madre house archive, both of which are made available for researchers, museums, and other non-profit institutions by appointment.
