Program 1
Children's bereavement camps are normally offered three times a year in new orleans, baton rouge, and gulfport. In 2020, only one camp was held as a result of covid retrictions. Over 80 children, recovering from loss, normally attend camp swan. This year 30.
Program 2
This year as a result of covid, a "covid heroes" was done online to recognize doctors and nurses for there sacrifice and dedication.
Program 3
Hospice care is provided for indigent patients through canon hospice. More than 20 patients received hospice care who did not have health care insurance benefits in our community.
Program 4
Nursing home reminiscence programs. Reminiscence therapy is normally done in group sessions to improve social interaction. This year it was done online.
