Program 1
We organized this Private Foundation in order to start a state chapter of the American Association for the treatment of Opioid Dependence. Dues collected from members will pay for the Alaska chapter's dues to the National organization and for travel by Alaska members or designees to the National Association meetings and to the AATOD Conference (every 18 months).
Program 2
Our exempt Status was awarded as of 6/19/23. We opened a bank account on 9/26/23 with "dues" from the Center for Drug Problems, Narcotic Drug Treatment Center.
Program 3
No other activity occurred until after January 1, 2024 when we started to recruit members and then collect membership dues.
Program 4
Officers and member organizations are from all over the state of Alaska. All activities are provided on a volunteer basis
