ABF provided after school and virtual programming to approximately 45-60 girls aged 10-18 with 2-4 hour sessions each meeting. Programming provided project based initiatives that embraced the 21st Century Learning Skills while implementing the 4 C's Critical Thinking Communication Collaboration & Creativity that are crucial for our desired learning environment. Specific activities included community gardening nutrion 101 heatly eating and cooking fun fitness book club virtual wellness checkins and mental health support for covid related changes to our youths daily lives. We joined forces with the BGC Miami-Dade to create these activities in person and virtually.
