$580KAwards - the society offers three types of awards to distinguished pharmacologists and to students and young scientists in the field. Scientific awards are provided to recognize and encourage outstanding research by prominent pharmacologists and to stimulate fundamental research by young investigators. Best poster awards are presented to meeting attendees who have submitted an outstanding research abstract for presentation at the meeting. Travel awards are granted to students as an educational tool to attend scientific meetings.
