API CHAYA

Community organizing: api chaya organizes leadership conferences, parenting classes, and culturally appropriate education to community groups. We engage the community through healing events, trainings, conferences, parenting classes, and in robust violence prevention efforts. In 2024, api chaya community organizers partnered with over 100 organizations to produce more than 300 local events to inspire social change and increase the skills within our communities to create conditions of safety and healing. Through workshops and media, api chaya reached more than 12,000 individuals.
