AUSTIN ELEMENTARY EAGLE FOUNDATION

Supplement the school curriculum materials, not covered by county or state funding. These funds are used to enhance the childrens' learning experience at austin. One major goal is to provide more individualized attention to the children by providing additional teacher and technology support. Support for the school has included chromebooks, smartboards and interactive tvs; classroom supplies and in-class libraries; paraprofessionals in classrooms to support teachers and students; literacy and phonics resources and training, and many other forms of support. This support has allowed 1:1 ratio of students and chromebooks in 3rd-5th grades, 180 hours per week of paraprofessionals supporting classrooms, 22 faculty members received orton gillingham certification, among other significant accomplishments.
