Civic leadership: bcf addresses community issues using grants, program initiatives and advocacy. Current priorities for these efforts are education and neighborhoods. Grants are made possible largely by discretionary endowments entrusted to bcf by donors. Advocacy efforts are supported by annual gifts and an endowment for civic leadership. Bcf programs include: the central maryland transportation alliance. Bcf works with partners from the public, private and nonprofit sectors to achieve its civic leadership goals, and offers donors the opportunity to learn and give together to make baltimore better.
