Program 1
The missouri bar requires all lawyers actively practicing law in missouri to complete 15 hours of continuing legal education (cle) every year. The association offered 52 cle classes to all lawyers with discounted registration fees for members. We continue to offer both in-person and virtual options for cle seminars, although virtual options remain very popular.
Program 2
The lawyer referral & information service (lris) is sponsored by the association as a public service. The lris mission is to assist the public in obtaining legal services. In operation for more than 70 years, the lris serves as the gateway between the public and the legal profession. During the past year, the lris made approximately 3,056 referrals to lawyers and other agencies and services in the metropolitan st. Louis area. Beginning in 2016, this is through an online platform.
