Birds connect seattle advocates for policy and actions that are good for birds and people, including bird-safe building legislation, tree canopy policy changes, protecting the arctic national wildlife refuge from oil and gas leasing, safer oil transportation in puget sound, and fully funding washington department of fish and wildlife.4. Birds connect seattle leads seattle's urban bird treaty city group, known as the seattle bird conservation partnership, which includes local non-profit and city, state, and federal government partners. The group's goals are to enhance habitat, reduce urban hazards, and engage our local communities in bird conservation.
