The chamber enjoyed a successful year in many facets; 1, increased the number of businesses assisted. 2. Increase the number of black businesses in the directory. 3. Increased the number of training sessions offered including to cities outside of albuquerque. 4. The president / ceo attended two events at the whitehouse with the president of the united states. 5. Hosted first board retreat. 6. Completely designed and implemented a new chamber website. 7. Hosted three vaccine equity clinics. 8. Hired a summer intern from howard university. 9. Hosted inaugural gala that sold out (over 300 tickets) within 2-1/2 weeks. 10. Completed 24 of the 96 certification hours for the institute for organizational management (iom) with the u.s. Chamber of commerce. 11. Partnered with mbda for four training sessions conducted outside of albuquerque. 12. Taught an entrepreneurial course for the university of new mexico's black student success program. 13. Built additional collaborations and fortified exis
