1-monthly events (in person and live streamed) where filmmakers will learn from experts in their fields and are able to network with one another. These events are on the craft and business of filmmaking. There were over 50 educational events in 2023. 2-career advancement initiatives where the organization selects underrepresented filmmakers to help them advance in their careers. The initiatives change each year. In 2023, there were 3 initiatives that helped underrepresented filmmakers get seen by those who hire. I-emerging filmmaker initiative to help directors who haven't been paid yet learn to become working directors ii-future women of tv initiative where women who are ready to direct their first tv show are set up to meet with those can hire them iii-feature directors program with women who are pursuing their feature films in studios, but without us would not be able to meet with those who hire helped 21 filmmakers get their films done and 7 filmmakers get a public screening of the
