CG Foundation

The Foundation's major program is business development for early-stage food and beverage companies and is called the incubator. Companies receive 20 hours of instruction over a 10-week period, weekly one-to-one mentoring with the program instructor (10+ hours total). Eligible companies must be established businesses, operating in Hawai'i with less than $350,000 in annual gross revenues. Furthermore, companies must be integrating locally-produced ingredients in their products and services. The program was founded in 2020 in response to the impacts of COVID-19 on the local small businesses and launched with a cohort of 10 participants. The programs mission is to seek long-term solutions to create a more diversified and resilient local economy and bolster the food supply chain. The vision is a sustainable local food system that nourishes our land and our people as well as provides equitable economic development in Hawai'i.
