The foundation was established to raise funds and provide support services for band programs at the local public middle and high schools. The foundation provides funds for the charles henderson middle school and charles henderson high school bands to purchase uniforms and instruments, and to attend band camps, competitions and festivals. Due to lack of funding from the local school baord, these activities would be severely limited without the funds and volunteer support provided by the foundation.
