$4.6MStop AAPI Hate is an initiative led by CAA with AAPI Equity Alliance and San Francisco State University Asian American Studies Department to address racism and discrimination against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders by raising awareness about anti-AAPI hate and advocating for comprehensive solutions that tackle the root causes of race-based hate.

$2.1MHmong Innovating Politics (HIP): HIP is the largest of ten other social justice groups within the Asian Americans for Civil Rights and Equality (AACRE) network that is housed at the Organization. HIP is a grassroots organization whose mission is to advance social justice and build power with Hmong youth and families through leadership development and multi-generational community organizing. HIP is based in Fresno and Sacramento, CA, bridging two of the largest Hmong American populations in the state and nation. HIP's work includes civic engagement, youth organizing, communication, narrative change, and social justice coalition building.

$3.7MOther Programs: Through AACRE, CAA continues to support and contribute to a broader progressive movement for social change in multiple ways. In addition to HIP, CAA is the fiscal sponsor for nine additional groups: The Alliance of South Asians Taking Action; APEX Express; Asian Prisoner Support Committee; Asian Refugees United; Hyphen magazine; Lavender Phoenix; The Network on Religion and Justice; VietUnity; & The Visibility Project. Together with CAA, these groups share administrative, campaign, and movement building resources while exploring and deepening the connections that our collective members, volunteers, and staff have with one another.
