Christian education charitable trust was created exclusively for religious, charitable and educational purposes. Though still primarily a grant-maker, cect has diversified its charitable activities by beginning to conduct direct charitable activities.convening of leadersa gathering of leaders of non-profits in the education sector is convened together to discuss challenges and opportunities that face their organizations. The goal of the convening is to provide a place for dialogue and learning in order to cooperatively look at the issues facing the education sector. Different experts in the field provide information and technical advice. The goal is for organizations to develop sustainable operating models that will allow them to continue to serve the public well both now and in the future. This program also has a grant initiative associated with it. Participants in the convenings are eligible to apply for a type of grant through the christian education charitable trust.
