Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities

Legislative, legal, educational, media, and other services related to economic development and transportation. This session we worked with legislators and other groups to push for increased funding for the Business Development Public Infrastructure program, housing infrastructure programs, and transportation infrastructure programs. We also worked to stop or modify legislation that would have impacted economic growth and infrastructure development in Greater MN.

Legislative, legal, educational, media, and other services focused on land use throughout Greater Minnesota. The CGMC helped revise and ultimately defeat legislation that would have usurped city's local control over land use and zoning policies in their communities.The CGMC provides educational resources to its members on labor and employment issues that cities face, including a series of webinars, presentations at conferences, regular newsletters, and a database of information.
