Programming competitions - There is a persistent competition site that exists at https://runcode.ninja. This site currently has almost 2,000 users across the world. There is no time limit to solving challenges and individuals receive points for each successful solve and gain rank on the leaderboard. The second way we encourage participation is through our annual weekend long competition (typically in November) where challenges are to be solved over 48 hours. The top ten individuals receive prizes from a publicized list. This competition typically receives approximately 1,000 competitors over the 48 hours.
