The researchers spent two weeks in vietnam meeting with leaders and documenting how the vnbs identified deficiencies, developed a comprehensive plan and implemented the plan. The work product is a case study that can be used by blood systems in developing nations that desire to modernize.

Cellular therapy training and certification program - ctf identified a need for cellular therapy training and certification for the us blood industry. Working with leaders from blood centers across the us, universities, and the national institutes of health, ctf laid the groundwork for such a program.

Feasibility of economic impact study for the us blood industry -- economic impact studies measure the resulting increase in output produced, incomes earned and jobs created or supported by economic enterprises including non-profit blood centers. The researchers worked with 3 blood centers to produce impact studies showing how community blood centers positively impacted the local and state economies in addition to their work supporting the blood transfusion needs of their markets.
