Program 1

Ceoc partnered with southern methodist university (smu) to pilot a 4-week session in the summer of 2024, which included current and former student athletes participating in our first down u(niversity). Our reasons for expanding into the collegiate arena: - only 27% of ncaa athletes agree that they had a mentor in college who encouraged them to pursue their goals and dreams (ncaa and gallup, 2020) - career termination is the most traumatic experience of an athlete, which often generates identity crises & coping difficulties (hatamleh, m. (2013). The life transition of high-performance athletes retirement from sport. European scientific journal, 9) - 95% of fortune 500 ceos played sports in college (coachup.com) the summer pilot was successful and ceoc led interactive training sessions for collegiate athletes and graduate assistants as part of a graduate course during the fall semester.

Program 2

Future initiatives in 2024, we continued to serve our students in our learning labs to increase their grade level proficiency in our 2 labs that were opened in 2023. We look forward to opening a 3rd lab over the next 12 months, as this will allow us to serve more students throughout our program in another area in the dfw metroplex. Continue to grow our first down and first down u mentorship initiatives. Other exempt purposes accomplishments -back to school laptop drive - ceoc, in partnership with att, compudopt, and new life community church provided 132 laptops to students, in the frisco area, that do not own a personal computer at home. -bonton "i got your back" block party: ceoc, in partnership with bridgebuilders, equipped more than 500 south dallas students and their families with supplies and resources for the 2024-25 school year
