Indigenous connectivity institute: the indigenous connectivity institute is a community of indigenous leaders sharing knowledge, shaping policy, and building the skills needed to build digital equity in their communities and have ownership over their digital futures. The program hosts tribal broadband bootcamps and the annual indigenous connectivity summit. The ultimate goal is for the institute to spin out into its own tribal-led and operated organization.

Program 2

$99K

Workforce development: workforce development activities expand local broadband workforce capacity by training community members, supporting skills development, and creating career pathways. These efforts help ensure lasting expertise to advance future broadband projects and operationalize planning processes.

Program 3

The rio grande valley broadband coalition: a network of local partners working to accelerate digital connectivity and opportunity. Our mission is to expand access to affordable, high-speed internet throughout the region and ensure that all rgv families, nonprofits, and businesses can fully participate in the digital world.international program: connect humanity is exploring how we can best work with local partners to provide our expertise and resources to tackle digital divides beyond us borders, starting with work in brazil.investment program: community-centric broadband that is equitable, sustainable, and affordable lacks access to mission-aligned investors. Connect humanity serves as a capital partner to invest in broadband that prioritizes low-income, rural, and bipoc communities. We invest in community-focused broadband infrastructure and the internet service providers (isps) best placed to close the digital divide. We do this by creatively blending financing and funding with terms that work for historically marginalized communities. We integrate digital equity covenants into our investments to ensure that communities meant to be served are actually served. We were recognized in impactassets' ia50 of top emerging impact managers globally.philanthropic: philanthropic support helps communities navigate the technical aspects of broadband mapping and planning, strengthening their ability to access funding and advance expansion efforts.
