COUNTY ROAD ASSOCIATION EDUCATION

Highway conference: the county road association of michigan (cra) education corporation (craec) was established to benefit cra's governmental members (county road commissions and county road departments) as the association executes its objective to develop a comprehensive, curated training program for staff at all levels in a county road agency and to provide member access to professional resources and training tools. One of the most significant events cra executes on an annual basis is its annual highway conference and road show, which brings together as many as 1,100 local transportation infrastructure specialists. Other single-subject educational events pop up at times including on invasive species, unfunded liabilities and specialized pavement workshops. These additional events typically range from 45 to 200 people.
