CRUZ-DIEZ FOUNDATION

In 2023, the cruz-diez foundation dedicated its efforts to preserving and promoting the legacy of carlos cruz-diez, with a primary focus on the care and study of its extensive art collection and expanding knowledge on the artist's life and work. The foundation co-organized the notable exhibition exploring color: a decade of prints and multiples by carlos cruz-diez in brazil. The exhibition was accompanied by a comprehensive catalog featuring scholarly essays that highlight the artist's groundbreaking work and enduring impact on the art world. In addition, the cruz-diez foundation published a new edition of reflexion on color, the seminal writing of carlos cruz-diez, in which the artist examines eight of his major investigations into color phenomena, including his iconic physichromie and chromosaturation series. The foundation partnered with the prestigious yale university press to distribute the publication, ensuring it reaches a global audience.
