$491Educational Events - Sky viewing events are organized at least 5 times a year are free and a means to educate the public about the night sky astronomy and the importance of keeping our night skies dark. We partnered with The Learning Council a local non-profit that focuses on environmental education and youth education.
Program 2
$633Public outreach and educational materials available at Town events including Hestival Festival a 3 day event which hosts hundreds of individuals families and offers educational booths music and camping. Dark Skies Paonia held a one night sky viewing event where children and adults could view the planets and learn about astronomy and importance of keeping our night skies dark for our health and the health of the environment.
