Additionally, the foundation, its staff, and board, maintains significant involvement with scholarship recipients by providing ongoing mentorship, degree progression monitoring, and offering job placement counseling. Through these efforts, the foundation supports workforce development, reduces poverty, enhances access to healthcare, and helps address critical workforce shortages in the education and healthcare sectors.

$59KDuring the reporting period, the foundation delivered a broad range of digital and in-person educational programs to support the ongoing professional development of both educators and healthcare professionals. These programs included accredited continuing education units (ceus) and targeted training sessions aimed at enhancing professional competencies, meeting licensure requirements, and addressing current challenges within their respective fields. In total, approximately 434 educators and healthcare professionals participated in these offerings.
