DAVIS PERFORMING ARTS COLLECTIVE

Another successful run of Scrooge, a full-length, original dance production of A Christmas Carol with over 200+ kids involved in the performances as dancers, actors, and live musicians. The show had 3 successful performances in November 2024. The production included 7-8 weeks of quality dance training and rehearsals in preparation for the shows with all levels of dancers aged 6-18. Scrooge is an all-inclusive show where all kids who register may participate, which means some of the dancers are professional level, some are beginners, and some have physical or mental disabilities that may have prevented them from otherwise performing in such a high quality production like this. Scrooge beautifully weaves these different types of dancers together for an engaging and heartwarming production and provides an uplifting opportunity for the kids to perform and feel a part of a community. DPAC has tried to keep the costs of participation low to remove barriers and also offers free registrations
