Trainings are offered to those who work in response systems, e.g., law enforcement, emts, emergency room nurses and other medical technicians, crisis line staff, and shelter response staff to learn about the communication and language variations in the deaf community and developing strategies that are effective to ensuring that deaf victims fully understand and are able to get help through interpreting and auxiliary services.
