Program 1
The DD-PBRN served as a nexus for research health systems improvement and health professionals education to further health equity for individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities IDD. Regular meetings connected diverse stakeholders including self-advocates family and professional caregivers physicians including resident physicians in training disability services providers and policy makers to each other for informational dialogue and mutually beneficial resources.
Program 2
The DD-PBRN provided technical consultation to other researchers in IDD healthcare to develop well-rounded proposals for projects that engage input from the IDD community at all stages of research.
