The foundation had a partnership with a public school district located outside of pittsburgh, pa. In partnership with the district, the foundation focused on working to better serve the needs of students, families and staff in the community to help develop healthy minds, bodies and relationships necessary to successfully navigate today's world. As of july 6, 2025, the foundation concluded its partnership with the district, which had previously benefited from its educational initiatives. The foundation is currently assessing new strategies and future directions for its education program. In addition, the foundation's public lands fund provides grants to local and national non-profit organizations that protect and maintain public lands, break down the barriers of access to outdoor experiences, and improve inclusion and equity in the outdoors.
