DIVINE HEART FOUNDATION INC

The foundation is a non-faith-based organization that fosters and supports humanitarian efforts directed towards impoverished children globally. The foundation aims to provide all forms of support to children of families with limited means so that they may have access to the basic necessities of life and to education, henceforth, giving these children an equal opportunity to succeed in their communities. The foundation works on projects in approx. 36 communities surrounding the town of ollantaytambo in peru. Children in these communities walk as much as 5 to 6 km one way to get to school. The foundation operates a soup kitchen and provides one nourishing meal to 35-40 children daily as they head home from school in the afternoon, and also operates a clothing drive to an impoverished community.
