FAITH ALLIANCE AND MORAL ECONOMY - ORGANIZED EDUCATIONAL EVENTS FOR IMMIGRATION REFORM, EDUCATED AND ENGAGED OVER 1,100 CONGREGANTS ON WORKERS RIGHTS ISSUES. Since 1999, EBASE has won over 31 policies and agreements to improve the lives of 250,000 low-wage workers and tenants, the majority of whom are people of color. Our policy achievements and commitment to enforcement, all addressed through the lens of our holistic worker approach, are advancing equity in the region and setting state and national milestones. EBASEs coalitions continue to improve job access and increased worker and tenant protections in Oakland and Concord. EBASE brings a myriad of strengths and skills - in coalition building, base-building, policy advocacy, strategic communications, and civic engagement to the campaign for housing justice. EBASE works to build the power and agency of tenants in Contra Costa County, establishing a housing justice agenda rooted in community needs and experiences.
