EAST CHAPEL HILL ROTARY CLUB FOUNDATION

Solar projects although we did not add rooftop solar to any additional homes built through habitat for humanity of orange county this year, we continued the partnership by volunteering at their sites. We raised $1448 to support a habitat for humanity project in abidjan, cote d'ivoire, that provides solar batteries for charging cell phones. Additionally, we sent the $6500 raised in 2023 to support solarequity in its commitment to add solar panels to peach apartments, a new affordable multi-unit housing complex.

Hurricane reliefwe raised money to donate to the nc disaster relief fund in support of hurricane helene victims. In the future, we will provide hands-on work in western nc as well as raise additional funds.
