EVERGREEN FOUNDATION

Maintained and enhanced the foundation's website, which provides extensive information on evergreen, the birchwood, and naturalistic landscaping. Its open gardens page describes the dozens of gardens, public and private, open to the public in maine, new hampshire and vermont. Its landscape lyceum page includes a free course on residential landscaping.

Opened the birchwood woodland garden to the public for the second time as a fundraiser for the friends of the montgomery town library. Like the evergreen garden opening,the foundation educated visitors about the garden and naturalistic landscaping with on-site docents, pamphlets, and interpretive signs. Like evergreen, the foundation will continue to open the birchwood annually, either as a fundraiser for a non-profit organization, or without charge.
