Establish, develop, and maintain gardens, a nature preserve, and a native plant sanctuary in an effort to further the preservation of the natural heritage of sullivan county and the greater northeastern region of the united states by enhancing public awareness of the ecological benefits of native plants, including their critical role in the reproductive cycle of pollinators and insects through guided tours, lectures, facilitating research, and other means.
