Program 1
$5KAfterschool Program - From August 2022 through May 2023 the foundation operated an afterschool enrichment program in [insert city if not Washington GA serving 25 children ages 10 to 17. The program provided a safe and supportive environment for youth during after-school hours allowing parents and guardians to maintain employment with peace of mind. Participants received academic tutoring mentorship from community leaders and access to digital learning resources. The program was supported by six dedicated volunteers who contributed time and expertise to mentor and guide students. Through a generous grant from Rayle EMC the program was able to secure laptops for student use increasing digital access and supporting academic achievement. This initiative furthered the foundations mission to empower underserved youth through education technology and mentorship.
Program 2
$259No Bars Program - The foundation served 125 youth through the No Bars program which included five educational trips to Athens-Clarke County in partnership with the Twin Angel Program. Youth heard from a juvenile judge district attorney sheriff and others involved in the justice system. They also toured the local jail to gain real-life insight into the consequences of crime. The program was designed to educate at-risk youth about the legal system encourage positive decision-making and deter delinquent behavior.
Program 3
$236Public Speaking Workshop - The organization hosted a one-day public speaking and presentation workshop in Washington Georgia serving 45 at-risk youth from the surrounding underserved community. The interactive program was designed to build participants confidence and communication skills. Attendees received hands-on instruction in developing an elevator pitch structuring and delivering presentations and public speaking techniques that foster leadership and career readiness. This initiative directly advanced the foundations mission to empower youth through education and personal development.
Program 4
Summer Camp Travel - During the summer of 2023 the foundation operated a six-week Summer Enrichment Camp that served 20 children from the local community. Each Friday participants engaged in educational field trips designed to expose them to higher education career pathways and cultural experiences. Destinations included: University of Georgia UGA Paine College STEM Conference at Mercedes-Benz Stadium Daniel Field Airport Educational and cultural trip to Tennessee The program was made possible through sponsorship from the Housing Authority of Washington GA and in collaboration with several local partners. The local high school provided meals to ensure nutritional support and the foundation coordinated efforts with the Parks and Recreation Department to enrich the students experience through structured recreational activities and mentorship. The Summer Camp advanced the foundations mission by combining education exploration and engagement fostering leadership confidence and exposure.
