Program 1
$379Jimmerosity jam 3-on-3 basketball tournament to stop bullying at the provo recreation center and at glens falls high school. The events were organized in cooperation with each city and school district. Participants included representatives from city government, the media, and community leaders. Over 1,000 youth (boys and girls ages 8-18) and adults attended and/or participated. Several media outlets were present to cover the event to stop bullying. The event was promoted via social media (facebook and twitter).
Program 2
$23KJimmerosity school program was organized in utah with brigham young university's largest student-run charitable organization, y-serve. The program was responsible for reaching over 30,000 youth, including holding monthly character-education programs and kindness clubs. Program topics include kindness, respect, positive peer pressure, and other character-building initiatives designed to stop bullying and build positive communities. In new york, the student leaders at glens falls high school met monthly or as needed with the jimmerosity staff (which includes community members and retired school staff) to discuss how students can proactively build a safe, inclusive environment for all students through positive peer pressure and wholesome school activities.
Program 3
$29KPositive peer pressure/chosen program - chosen is the formula that will help cultivate the desire for good and provide the opportunity for all children to succeed at becoming people of good character. This program promotes the idea that every child is chosen to succeed. Resources are made available to the school districts as funds allow, and are requested, to provide for the varied physical needs of students. At the same time, chosen is an acronym of the type of support available to families. C = character (also supported through our p4 and jimmerosity school program) h = health o = opportunity s = safety e = education n = nutrition these needs are taken care of in a very personal, private way through two different funds made available to the extent our funding allows. In 2018, the foundation teamed up with others to fund an update of playground equipment in pleasant grove, utah to enable accessibility to all children, including those with disabilities and special needs. The foundation
