FRELINGHUYSEN MORRIS FOUNDATION

The museum was open during the regular season for guided and self-guided tours. Installed a new exhibit titled "get to know george and suzy" featuring artwork spanning the long careers of both george l.k.morris and suzy frelinghuysen. Created new written and audio tours. The audio tour includes george l.k. Morris' actual voice from smithsonian archive tapes. Local artists led painting demonstrations during the summer. Short presentations by director weekly called director's corner. New "exercise your creativity" event held on sundays. Special lecture given by visiting architectural historian. Preservation work continued on archives and historic buildings. A grant from the state of massachusetts helped us beautify our visitors check in and entrance road.
