P2P is committed to the importance of increasing equity diversity inclusion and belonging - both within our own organization and among the educational and corporate communities we partner with. It is our goal to provide leaders and educators with resources that help foster diverse and inclusive environments. We aim to facilitate continued learning and to encourage valuable networking opportunities. P2P is dedicated to uplifting marginalized voices and providing intersectional education that is transformative. P2P trains educates and inspires a new generation of leaders communities and organizations. P2P recognizes all people have experienced various traumas and violence throughout their lives including intergenerational and historical trauma and that directly impacted voices must be the foundation of P2Ps mission in order to increase equity diversity and inclusion.

We are dedicated to promoting and advocating for higher education for currently and formerly incarcerated men and women. The UNLOCK Higher Ed Coalition is a group of stakeholders interested in policy solutions to increase educational access for individuals with criminal convictions.

? P2P TRP will have well trained professional Team members. ? P2P TRP will provide opportunities for scholar growth and personal success. ? P2P TRP will provide and maintain facilities that meet the needs of our scholars. ? P2P TRP will promote academic success among scholars. ? The goal is for the P2P TRP Scholar to move towards housing independence within one year. TRP Scholars must do and provide proof of the following: o Achieve enrollment in school by 1-month. Start school within 2-3-months. o Open a bank account by 1-month. Provide a monthly bank statement. Save at least $100 per month. o Gain employment by 2-months and provide bi-weekly paycheck stubs or proof of employment. o Obtain a drivers license by 3-6-months. ? Benefits: Personal laptop & student desk to each scholar. $1500 Scholarship and other benefits of the P2P Program such as internship opportunities and being matched with a P2P Mentor and Tutor. o P2P TRP Scholars must connect with their P2P Mentor & Tutor weekly starting in month-1. ? Meetings & Groups: P2P TRP Scholars must attend two weekly group sessions academic & personal enrichment at the P2P House AND P2P Scholars must attend Saturday P2P cohort sessions. Unexcused absences from 1 or more sessions is grounds from removal from the house.

Prison-to-Professionals P2P leads a group of volunteers who volunteer to be pen pals to people who are currently incarcerated. Pen Pals commit to writing at least 2 letters a month.
