Program 1
$181KThe Silicon Valley Program is an annual, high-impact science-focused gathering in the SF Bay Area organized by GASA (Global Academy of Science and Arts) .It is GASA's flagship program and serves as the cornerstone of our initiatives. The SV program brought together thought leaders, researchers, and innovators from the SF Bay Area, Mainland China, Hongkong, Singapore and other regions in the US., to explore cutting-edge developments in material science, artificial intelligence, and space exploration, etc. Participants visited some of the region's most prestigious institutions, including Stanford University and UC Berkeley, where they engaged with leading researchers at interactive lectures, panel discussions and networking opportunities. GASA received tremendous positive feedback from participants, industry experts, and academic leaders. The success of the SV program has positioned GASA as a leading model for global science engagement. The total cost of running the program includes venue rentals, speaker fees, logistics, and educational materials. This investment supports GASA's mission to promote scientific literacy, innovation, and global collaboration.
Program 2
$137KIn late November 2024, as a non-profit organization, GASA successfully held the Japan Program. Centered on academic exchanges and interactions between the scientific and business communities, it attracted 50 entrepreneurs from various fields like tech and healthcare, and nearly 15 scientific professors from life science, materials science, and social science. During the event, professors from top Japanese universities shared the latest research on gene editing, advanced materials, and digital transformation's social impact, followed by in-depth Q&A. There were panel discussions on commercializing research and industrial applications of new materials. Networking events provided opportunities for cooperation exploration, and visits to top - tier institutions allowed participants to see advanced labs and communicate with researchers. As a result of this program, entrepreneurs gained a better understanding of the world's most cutting edge scientific advancements and cultivated scientific thinking. This not only enhanced their own knowledge but also empowered them to contribute to the dissemination of science. With the entrepreneurs acting as bridges, the benefits of scientific progress can reach a wider audience, ultimately benefiting more people in society.
