Global SOF Foundation

Co-sponsored with U.S. Army Special Operations Command, GSOF has held the Modern Warfare Week event at Ft. Liberty a total of four times. It features senior Army SOF leaders, young officers and NCOs, as well as industry and academic experts. The theme and agenda are typically set by the Army command to address critical issues to the U.S. Army SOF Enterprise. GSOF also incorporated live-fire demos at a nearby range complex.

SOF Week is an annual conference for the international SOF community to learn, connect, and honor its members. Held in Tampa, FL, the event was jointly sponsored by U.S. Special Operations Command and the Global SOF Foundation. It included an exhibition hall, organized by functional areas; extensive programming, to include senior keynote speakers, professional development seminars, industry engagements, business matchmaking, and nonprofit interests; and the USSOCOM Annual Awards Ceremony and Dinner. The 2023 event drew over 15,000 attendees. The conference featured 121 speakers in 34 different sessions. The exhibit hall contained over 650 companies.
