Valley christian teacher's assistance fund:hage foundation's partnership with valley christian schools (vcs) established the teacher's assistance fund to support full-time vcs faculty and enhance the schools' efforts to attract and retain the highest quality teachers for their students. The purpose of the teachers assistance fund is to establish a platform for all parents and alumni who are passionate about providing ongoing financial support to full-time vcs faculty in need. Vcs will work with hage foundations in selecting teachers based on the criteria of financial need and employee performance. The total contribution is $200,000 with a 5-year scheduled contribution from 2022-2026. The chen-luan family faculty development professorship of electrical and computer engineering fundthe hage foundation will establish a fund of $1,250,000, named the chen-luan family faculty development professorship of electrical and computer engineering fund, in honor of dr. Chen's mentor, professor stephane lafortune. The donor intends that the professorship be used to recruit and retain the most talented assistant and/or associate faculty members in the division of electrical and computer engineering. Hage foundation will be involved in the recipient selection process. The scheduled contribution period is 5 years from 2023-2027. It is the hage foundation's intention to be continuously involved in the professorship after the contribution ends.
