HEAL THE PLANET FOUNDATION

In 2024, heal the planet foundation provided critical seed funding to accelerate the expansion of young planet leaders, a dynamic youth empowerment initiative that had operated for eight years under heal the planet together, another organization supported by the foundation. Recognizing the program's extraordinary momentum, unique mission, and transformative global potential, the vision was clear: young planet leaders needed to become its own 501(c)(3) non profit to scale its impact and meet the growing demand for youth-led planetary change. This catalytic funding enabled the appointment of a dedicated team member and the rapid rollout of a myriad of innovative programs. By the fourth quarter of 2024, the initiative had grown so successfully, and so quickly, that young planet leaders officially incorporated and received its 501(c)(3) status, opening the door to greater funding, partnerships, and long-term sustainability.
