$34KHealing Hub Nepal: In 2024, Healing Together Nepal trained 859 educators, activists, and community leaders, including 611 adolescent youth, to become "Healing Activists" who now support more than 27,000 youth and adult survivors through peer-based mental health care. Over 100 partner schools and community organizations participated, serving women, girls, and LGBTQIA+ families. Participants report using their skills to heal themselves and others, prevent suicide, and end corporal punishment. The team's Nepali-language podcast on mental health and cycles of violence has reached over 200,000 viewers to date.

$81KHealing Hub Uganda: In 2024, Healing Together Uganda provided trauma-informed care trainings to 1,087 educators, activists, and community leaders from 77 organizations and communities, creating "Healing Advocates" who now support over 26,000 survivors of trauma and violence. Partners included schools and community-based organizations working to empower women and girls and address sexual and gender-based violence. Participants reported helping children recover from trauma, supporting women to leave abusive relationships, preventing suicide, and ending corporal punishment. Our monthly mental-health radio program continues to educate listeners on trauma, self-care, and stigma reduction, reaching an estimated 5 million Ugandans.
