HEART OF THE ROCKIES INITIATIVE

Our rural initiatives program was developed from the premise that thriving rural communities are inextricably linked to thriving conservation. The program serves rural and tribal communities through a community-led process to create and implement community vitality projects that deepen a sense of place, support thriving economies, and ensure the outdoors is accessible and supports community well-being.

Coordinated and convened the high divide collaborative a partnership of ranchers, local community leaders, public land managers, state wildlife managers, scientists, and conservation groups in a portion of idaho and montana for peer-to-peer learning, networking, fundraising opportunities, and conservation delivery. We supported and helped expand landowner-led wildlife conflict reduction efforts.
