The foundation currently operates three facilities in santa ana that provide tutorial and mentoring services to adolescents, typically ages 14-19 that attend high school in the santa ana unified school district and surrounding districts. The program assists participants in developing necessary skills to increase the quality of their academic performance, to gain admission and graduate from institutions of higher learning, to earn scholarships and grants, and to lead active and successful lives in pursuit of their chosen fields or professions. Activities include tutoring in high school curriculum and job interests, counseling to help resolve family and community issues and conflicts, cultural enrichment programs, preparatory training for part-time jobs, college application and entrance exams, with a focus on keeping these teenagers interested and active in a college education and curriculum. The centers currently serve approximately 415 students monday through friday and supports an add
