You Are Not Alone Facing Spinal Cord Injury is a private Facebook Group, created by the foundation, in which membership is limited to people living with spinal cord injury and members of their families. The group now has 5,500 members who connect on a regular basis. Major topics include adaptive sports, dating, health concerns, and caregiving. more than two-thirds of the members engage with group at least once a week.

I Was a Wheelchair Kid is an expanding podcast series created for adolescents with spinal cord injuries. It features true stories of wheelchair kids children and teens who were suddenly paralyzed and had to figure out how to navigate their lives in a wheelchair. It currently has over 1,500 downloads. The series is a joint project of the Hill Foundation, the Midwest Spinal Cord Injury Model System (SCIMS) at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, and the Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center (MSKTC) and is funded in part by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR).

The Hill Foundation is regularly invited to present about its work and activities at professional medical conferences, including the American Spinal Injury Association, the Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals, The American Psychological Association, the Paralyzed Veterans of America, and the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine. A highlight of its work, Voices of Experience is a 10-part video series for people with new spinal cord injuries that features people who have been living with spinal cord injuries for years. It talks candidly about the questions, issues and concerns that are most important in the early days after a spinal cord injury. Designed for in-hospital TV networks and rehab centers (also available on the internet) it is a joint project with the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and was funded in part by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR).
