Our family of companies form a continuum of care centered on the individual patient's and family's needs. Hospice of marion county's affiliated companies, florida palliative equipment llc d/b/a accent medical (durable medical equipment company) and the center for comprehensive palliative care (ccpc) consulting practitioner program are both wholly owned llcs and complement the parent company's offerings, sharing in its commitment to the highest standards of excellence for patients, residents, and their families. Ccpc was the only palliative consulting company in the nation recognized for excellence and as a model for others by the national consensus project for its expert management of pain and symptoms for patients at any stage in their illness in the hospital setting; that care has extended to facilities and some home visits. The coordinated relationships between our companies ensure an exceptional range of services which often reduces costs and offers consistency of care. Each company is a distinct llc within its area of expertise, staff and management.
