Meets that were organized for the competitive program were held from september through april. Teamsthroughout wv and surrounding states attendedsuch meets. In july, a city meet was conducted thatserved summer league pools located throughout thegreater kanawha valley. From november through january, 4 regular swim meets were held for the wv secondary school activities comm. Approx 7 wv high schools participated.
