$1.3MIdaho ecosy-stem. The ecosystem is a network of collaborators committed to leveraging shared resources that effectively raise awareness of science, technology, engineering and math (stem) opportunities and connect all idahoans to stem pathways in their community. This program is funded from the idaho stem action center.
Program 2
$275KYouth apprenticeship program. Through a joint effort with the idaho workforce development council, idaho department of labor, and idaho career and technical education, ibe is scaling up idahos youth apprenticeship program with a goal of placing 400 apprentices by 2024. Ibe youth apprenticeship connects 16-24 year-olds to jobs, training, and careers in idaho. Building workforce-ready labor requires a collaborative effort among government, business, and education. Ibe youth apprenticeship provides education, work experience, and access to postsecondary education, training, and certifications and it helps us reach idahos goal of having 60% of our 25 to 34 year-old workers hold a postsecondary credential.
