United students - this component empowers and develops the leadership capacity of young people in area high schools through education, academic services, and youth organizing training.

Civic engagement - this component educates, activates, and mobilizes eastside residents on issues that impact their quality of life and increases their civic participation at the ballot box and beyond.

Families unidas - this component develops a powerful and influential base of parents and community members to promote educational justice in public education and builds the leadership of families to have positive collective impact.

Housing justice - this area of work identifies quantitative and qualitative data and research methods to build a case for housing justice and community change. Specific policy and research areas include tenet protection: eviction laws, tenet / landlord rights, housing scarcity, unhoused issues and homelessness issues, including statewide policies impacting inequities.
